A geolocation function is interesting. I know at least two customers
that in the past had interest in an geolocation function in Bundy (when
it still was BIND 10).

BIND 9 now has official geolocation support in the 9.10 release.

I've never worked with DNS geolocation myself, so I cannot really judge
how such an API should look like.

I would prefer if the geolocation function in Bundy would be implemented
as an optional module (plugin). One of the main design features on Bundy
is modularization.

There is currently no documentation on how to write a Bundy module, but
if you are willing to work on the geolocation part, we could work
together and I will write the documentation on the geolocation as well
as a documentation on how to write a Bundy extension module.
