a recent version of BIND 10 was buildable on that exact platform.
Maybe you can first try BIND 10 to see if you have the same issue.  If
not, it's probably a regression due to one of the changes we've made
for the configure script and m4 macros.  Since there are not so many
such changes it won't be difficult to find the offending commit.
